"The Beast" Fred Johanson wearing full silicone makeup which he tears off in
the transformation scene at the end.
The horns are done in polyurethane foam with a thin coating of silicone to give
it the shine.
I cast them in a big silicone mould and it was a real nightmare. Imagine all the
air pockets that appeared.

At one point of the play the Beast needs to be in two places at the
same time so I made this stunt double mask in silicone that another guy
could just slip over his head.
I'm almost done for the day.

I the beginning of the play an old gypsy woman puts a spell on the Prince
and transforms him into the beast.
This mask that fits on the top of a dancer's head was made with silicone and
I made some plastic eyes for it.

This was my last makeup at the opera (forever?) so it had to be
photographed!
