"The Beast" Fred Johanson wearing full silicone makeup which he tears off in the transformation scene at the end.

The horns are done in polyurethane foam with a thin coating of silicone to give it the shine.
I cast them in a big silicone mould and it was a real nightmare. Imagine all the air pockets that appeared.

Some pictures from the stage.
Annika Edstam's (Belle) makeup and hair by Kerstin Olsen.

We did some TV appearances so be sure to check them out on the media page.

At one point of the play the Beast  needs to be in two places at the same time so I made this stunt double mask in silicone that another guy could just slip over his head.

I'm almost done for the day.
Happy!

I the beginning of the play an old gypsy woman puts a spell on the Prince and transforms him into the beast.

This mask that fits on the top of a dancer's head was made with silicone and I made some plastic eyes for it.

Here you can see the original sculpture and Karolina Krigsman peek out under her mask.

Two of the gargoyles taking a little break.

This was my last makeup at the opera (forever?) so it had to be photographed!
